Grant for Education Innovator Will Give Parents a New Window to Children’s Learning
CHAPPAQUA, New York, Nov. 16, 2023—Personalized professional learning firm LessonLoop™ announced it has been awarded a Cambiar Thrive Grant to extend its innovative student engagement software to parents and caregivers. LessonLoop, which helps upskill educators by translating real-time student voice and engagement data into more effective teaching strategies, is the first to provide a clear view into students’ classroom learning experiences. The grant will expand LessonLoop so student guardians can access meaningful, actionable information in support of their students’ learning.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused a significant student learning loss, which most severely affected underserved communities (Fahle, Kane, et. al, 2023). In response, families seek current insights to not only stem their children’s learning loss but more quickly advance their education over time.
The Cambiar Thrive Grant program seeks breakthrough solutions that give families more insight into their children’s education and development. “We are excited to support LessonLoop’s work to provide parents and caregivers with real-time student data on their children’s learning experiences in the classroom,” said Christina Heitz, CEO and Founder of Cambiar Education.
